Sit in Your Essence

I find it funny how so many people that “work hard” are miserable deep inside. Even those who succeed because of hard work are not happier than when they first started out. I’ve always found it funny…

I don’t know about you but if I need to hold something together with a nail, I use a hammer or a drill, not a plier.

If you want to feel a certain emotion then why aren’t you analyzing yourself through meditation, or other intrinsic methods. If you’re born in a harsh environment and you want to take care of the people around you, then it’s definitely worth it to look for external solutions like making more money or moving to another area. External problems call for external solutions. But where did this belief of the external taking care of the internal come from? Believe it or not but by sitting still with yourself and recognizing your fears and ideologies you can make more progress towards happiness than someone who has worked their ass off for twenty years. Trust me I’ve been on the receiving end of jealousy from people older than me who didn’t start doing this earlier.

I recommend that you sit with yourself in total silence and imagine the best-case scenario that you think will make you FEEL successful. That’s right, FEEL successful. The human being doesn’t actually care for material things. They don’t necessarily equate to emotion. It’s something people realize a bit too late. Think deeply on it and actually FEEL what that best case scenario evokes in you.

Something I might add, it’s scientifically proven that the brain can’t differentiate between a fabricated scenario and the actual physical event. That’s why this method works so well because what you create in your mind will be a perfect simulation of what you will actually feel. Then you can start adding and removing variables to your outcome until it matches the emotion you want. Once it’s recognized, set the direction and don’t look back. The more you travel the better you get at navigating obstacles (P.S. They’re usually people) and managing your emotions. Don’t be like those people that procrastinate on the act of knowing themselves by “working hard.”

An individual that wishes to see the ocean but doesn’t set his direction will end up scaling a mountain. Other people cheer for him saying, “He’s such a hard worker!” But in the end, he will spend his time scaling a goal he never wanted in the first place. At the top he will see the ocean on the other side and realize he wasted his entire life just because he didn’t sit at the beginning of the journey and actually see where he was supposed to go. He can throw a tantrum and blame his gods or other entities but the only person he has to blame is himself.

No one feels pity for the unaware. Hard work doesn’t guarantee success. Set your direction, place yourself on the path. The hard work part…is optional.

If you’ve mastered the act of knowing yourself then I suggest that you reach for even greater heights. I don’t know if you’ve realized this but there is never any mention of gods griping about their lot. They just do their tasks and there is a reason for that. Gods don’t think like you do, they don’t use the analytical mind for goal setting. They feel their true nature and then use their mental capacities to create the outcomes they want. Their brain isn’t turned on for the majority of their existence that is why they live in Paradise, Mount Olympus, Nirvana, etc.

Feel what excites you! Feel what will make you fulfilled! Then use all your abilities and capacity to achieve it! Gods don’t speak about their life and achievements because they walk their path every day. What seems like monuments to you are everyday happenings to them. Like a famous rapper once said, “Your lifetime achievements are my Tuesday!” So set out on your path and measure your success by your fulfillment and peace of mind. Forget mortals and their analysis. Be godlike and watch them quiver at your feet. All while you watch the sunset and sit in the greatest throne of all…the seat of your essence.
